Deeawn Roundtree is the author of "Beyond the Boardroom: Learn how to play and win at the game of corporate politics”. She is also a Certified Image Consultant with the internationally known London Image Institute and Etiquette Survival. Her goal is to help improve individuals’ personal and professional image from the inside out.

Her professional experience includes a successful pharmaceutical sales career for Johnson and Johnson where she won the coveted President’s Trophy with her colleagues ranking #1 in the nation and where she personally ranked #2 in the nation. She is a former Financial Services Consultant for American Express Financial Advisors and has obtained other professional sales and entrepreneurial experience throughout her career. Currently, she is an adjunct professor in the Center of Excellence in Business & Entrepreneurial Studies Department at the historical Lincoln University.  

Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Business Administration degree from Wilmington University, an M.S. degree in Professional Leadership with a concentration in Training and Development and a B.S. degree in Business Management from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Junior League of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance (PACA) and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

Deeawn has conducted workshops for various companies and organizations such as the PA Black Conference on Higher Education, the Philadelphia VA Hospital, Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, Alliance for Better Housing, Career Link, National Penn Bank, Bayada Nurses, Temple University, Fordham University, Virginia State University, Penn State University, Widener University, Lincoln University, Ramapao College, Image and Attitude, Inc., Real Estate Companies and other non-profit organizations and for-profit companies, to name a few.

She has been a featured guest throughout the country on various radio talk shows and local television programs.

Deeawn brings real-world experience and passion to her training workshops. This is conveyed through her dynamic teaching style and easy-going personality. This enables trainees to identify with her and motivates them to improve their own professional and personal image.

Empowering and motivating others to accomplish and succeed in achieving their personal and career goals by instilling the lessons and techniques she has learned, are her rewards.
